The Turnbull's Web Log
Where embroidery & crafts meet computing

Welcome to our Personal Web Site and Blog
Hello, I'm Annette and I love embroidery, pottery and glass-making. Here I hope to share with you all the things that interest me. This site has replaced my previous embroidery pages at digiteq.co.uk/textileart or textileart.digiteq.co.uk

Hi, I'm Jack - I love golf, computing and fast cars ( I have a VX220, or Opel Roadster, depending where you're from). My heroes are Tony Jacklin and Jeremy Clarkson.

We are going to divide the site into areas of individual and common interest. We hope you'll like it. We will be continually building and improving the site. If you have constructive suggestions for improvement, please comment in the guestbook.

We live in Poole, Dorset (as you may have gathered from the weather feed to the left). The heading picture is of Poole harbour with 'Old Harry' rocks towards the right.

Some gallery sections will require registering for you to see the photos - this is easy to do and we will enable access as soon as possible after registration and send you an email. Also if you comment in the blog section, this will not appear immediately - due to current state of the internet, we have to moderate this - comments will appear as soon as we can read and approve.

Thanks for your interest and we'd love to hear from you.

iPad rules!
Have recently bought an iPad and think it's pretty amazing!
I travel alot and find it invaluable filling in the time watching movies, listening to music and doing the odd bit of work.
The best thing about it is the number and quality of applications available and they're so cheap!
The worst thing is that (unless you jailbreak) you're tied in so tightly to Apple. I'm gonna consider freeing myself when jailbreak for iOS 4.2 becomes available (more than beta).

Site Up Again
Had some trouble over the last year with the domain name and its renewal. Also the weather feed corrupted the layout.
This has all been resolved so we are up and running again!
